Custom Interconnect Ltd invests in MICRONIC MY300SX SMT Placement machine

Due to continued exceptional growth, Custom Interconnect Ltd has invested in the latest MICRONIC MY300SX Pick & Place machine to expand capacity and its technical capability. The MY300SX is the very latest machine in the MICRONIC machine line up and therefore puts CIL at the cutting edge of placement technology. With 0201 SMT placement now commonplace, increasingly CIL finds itself placing 100,000’s of 0201 components daily as well as BGA’s/LGA’s/CSP’s and quite simply it cannot be achieved with older style SMT machines. This new capability when combined with its existing two other MICRONIC SMT lines now means half of CIL’s total SMT capacity is now placing 0201’s as well as BGA’s/LGA’s/CSP’s. A further benefit of having three 0201 capable interchangeable SMT lines is helping with the current component lead-time/delivery challenges. Having the flexibility of three separate 0201 capable lines as well as its other three SMT lines means that CIL always has production capacity for its customers.
