International Women in Engineering Day - Sunday 23rd June 2024

International Women in Engineering Day (#INWED24) was born to enable the celebration of women in engineering to become global.

Having started as a UK national campaign in 2014 by the Women's Engineering Society, INWED grew into an international day in 2017 for the first time.   

Held on Sunday 23rd June 2024, this year's theme is #EnhancedbyEngineering. We want to highlight some inspirational CIL women who are helping to build a brighter future through engineering.
